OLDIES TACO
in Seoul
Euljiro 3-ga

If you’re exploring Euljiro 3-ga, there’s one place you really shouldn’t miss — Oldies Taco.
They now have a few locations around Seoul, but the original shop is right here in Euljiro 3-ga.
Every time I walk past, there’s almost always a line. It’s become such a popular spot that even foreign tourists know about it, and you’ll usually find people waiting whether it’s a weekday or the weekend.
I was too curious to skip it, so I decided to wait in line for a quick lunch. The inside has a standing-bar kind of atmosphere, so the turnover is surprisingly fast. I didn’t end up waiting as long as I thought I would!

About Oldies Taco
Exterior

Oldies Taco sits right on the corner as soon as you come out of Exit 8 at Euljiro 3-ga Station. It’s a small shop, but the LED sign that clearly says “OLDIES TACO” makes it very easy to spot.
Because the space is limited, it operates almost like a standing bar. That also means it’s always popular — you’ll often see people waiting in line.
If the main shop is too crowded, just turn the corner and walk a few more steps. There’s a second location nearby, so it’s a good option when the line gets long.
It’s easy to notice during the day, but I imagine the glowing sign makes the atmosphere even better at night. (I haven’t been in the evening yet, though!)
Interior & Atmosphere

When I visited, it was so crowded that I couldn’t even go inside. That’s why I couldn’t take proper photos either..😢
From what I could see, there seemed to be space for about 2–3 groups to stand and eat inside, and a couple more spots outside as well. It’s a really small place with a strong standing-bar vibe!
It feels like the kind of spot where you could casually stop by for a beer and a taco as a quick snack — very much that relaxed foreign street-food energy.
Oldies Taco Menu & Prices
What to do first when you arrive
Start with the tablet. Choose whether you want to eat inside, at the outdoor standing bar, or take it to go — and it’ll show you the approximate waiting time. After that, a staff member will take your order and give you a number ticket.

Oldies Taco – 5,900 won Signature soft taco made with thinly sliced American beef brisket. Light and mild flavor.
Birria Taco – 6,900 won Hard taco filled with Korean beef shank and brisket that has been slowly simmered for 5 hours. Soft texture with rich meat flavor.
Taco Rice – 8,900 won Okinawa-style dish with beef and pork slowly cooked in tomato sauce, served over rice.
Mega Bomb Snack – 9,900 won Seasoned Doritos topped with ground meat and sauce. A fun, shareable snack-style menu.

As you can see in the photo above, they also have drinks and alcohol available.
What I Ordered

The menu I ordered was their best-seller — the Oldies Taco!
Personally, I prefer soft, chewy tortillas over crispy ones, so I chose this without any hesitation.
That day it was extremely crowded, so I ordered it for takeout. I ended up hiding in a side alley like a cat and eating it alone ㅋㅋㅋ I had to eat quickly because I needed to rush to my academy class…
The portion isn’t big. It’s only about 2–3 bites, so it might leave you a little hungry if you’re treating it as a full meal.
On the other hand, if you’re on a diet, the size is just right for a light snack.
I love avocado and cilantro, so it was perfect for my taste! If you don’t like cilantro, just select “no cilantro” when you order.

Space ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
It’s super easy to find — right as you come out of Exit 8 at Euljiro 3-ga Station. The space is definitely on the small side. I wish it were a bit bigger, but at the same time, this tiny size actually fits the unique vibe of Oldies Taco really well.
Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The ingredients are high quality and, most importantly, it tastes great. One bite and you immediately understand why it’s so popular.
Would I come back? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes — I’d definitely come back when I’m hungry or just want something light. If I pass by and there’s no line, I’ll quickly grab one, or just take it to go!
