Do you know the cute Cakie by Gomi friends? They’re lovable little bears with chubby cheeks that look just like freshly baked bread.
Right now they’re holding a pop-up at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, so I wanted to introduce them to you.
Location & Hours / Parking
Address Seoul, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yeongjung-ro 15, Times Square 1F Atrium
Pop-up Period August 19 (Wed) – September 1 (Tue), 2026
How to Get There
- Line 1 Yeongdeungpo Station, Exit 5 → connected underground shopping area, about 3–5 minutes on foot
- Line 5 Yeongdeungpo Market Station, about 10–15 minutes on foot
- Line 2 Mullae Station, about 10–15 minutes on foot
The pop-up is located right in the front atrium on the 1st floor, so it’s very easy to find! (Right next to Shake Shack) It’s the big open hall with the glass ceiling that you see as soon as you enter Times Square.
Operating Hours Daily: 10:30 AM – 10:00 PM (same as Times Square) Please note that payment/entry may close a little earlier depending on the on-site situation.
Parking The pop-up itself does not offer parking validation.
- You can use the Times Square underground parking (B3–B5)
- First 30 minutes free / 1,000 KRW per 10 minutes after that
- Parking discount tickets are available when you shop at stores inside the mall (some stores excluded, max 8 hours per day)
- You can also get free parking coupons by signing up for the Times Square app
- Parking gets very crowded on weekends and holidays
Public transportation is highly recommended!
Cakie by Gomi Photo Zone
When you enter through the main entrance of Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, you’ll see the Cakie by Gomi friends right next to Shake Shack, cheerfully greeting visitors and even helping take photos.
I visited on the weekend, so there were two large mascot friends taking pictures with kids. I’m not sure if the mascot characters appear on weekdays as well.
Even if there are no moving mascot friends around, don’t be sad! There are plenty of photo zones where you can take cute pictures together.

The neatly displayed Cakie by Gomi friends looked so adorable!
Since it was the weekend, there were many families with kids. The children were really happy, taking photos and having fun.
It wasn’t just the kids — adults also seemed to enjoy a little healing moment while touching the soft, fluffy Cakie by Gomi dolls.
Since Cakie by Gomi is bread, they even prepared trays so you can pick them up with tongs, just like at a real bakery.
I really liked how well the concept came through.
The Cakie by Gomi bakery pop-up is an open-style setup, so even people just passing through Times Square can easily stop by.
Even though it was crowded on the weekend, the open layout meant it didn’t feel stuffy or overly complicated.
Throughout the space, Cakie by Gomi was adorably decorated here and there, which made looking around so fun and delightful for the eyes. Seeing cute things just instantly lifts your mood, doesn’t it?

There were various Cakie by Gomi baking keyrings available. The Cakie by Gomi baking keyring is priced at 16,500 KRW.
Cakie by Gomi has different names depending on the dough and baking stage.

In addition to the dough, proofing, perfectly baked, and burnt versions, there were also matcha bread and toast versions.
Personally, I found the toast-shaped keyring especially cute. It looks so soft and fluffy that it almost feels like it would smell like real bread.
If you’re a bread lover who goes on bakery pilgrimages, attaching a bread keyring would look so adorable.

I couldn’t take a detailed photo of the Cakie by Gomi eco bag, but you can catch a glimpse of it on the left side of the photo.
The designs for the S size and L size are different, so please keep that in mind.

“This bear is a lucky bear! Good fortune will come to you.” It’s a poster that just lifts your mood. I think people with F personality types would really like it.
Since my MBTI is… INTJ, the one that resonated more with me was “Have you finished crying? Now let’s get back to work.” haha
I also took a photo of “Let’s never grow up because it’s too heavy.” It’s so cute. Let’s all stay young at heart and live happily!

The open layout made it feel comfortable even on a busy weekend. If you’re already visiting Times Square for shopping or a movie, you can easily spot it from the escalator — it’s worth stopping by for a moment.

The products were incredibly cute and the quality was good. For people who love bread and bears, Cakie by Gomi feels like the perfect combination.
