There’s a space in Euljiro 3-ga that feels like a little piece of Europe, quietly hidden away.
It’s Queen’s Sunday — the warm and heartfelt gift shop (and studio) of collector Lily and illustrator Salut Danny.
Inside, you’ll find goods and posters featuring the artist’s illustrations, postcards, vintage items, and charming party supplies that gently warm the heart.
What makes the space even more special is that you can often see Salut Danny herself drawing right there in the shop.
It’s the kind of place where a soft smile naturally appears as you slowly look around.
Today, I’d like to introduce you to this quietly hidden little corner of Seoul.

Exterior
At first, you might walk into the building wondering, “Is the little gift shop I saw earlier somewhere in here?”
But once you step inside Jungang Deco Plaza, the way to Queen’s Sunday is clearly marked, so it’s not hard to find.
Take the elevator up to the 14th floor. You’ll see a typical officetel-style hallway — then open the door decorated with a cute rabbit, and suddenly a little European world appears.
The door isn’t locked, so don’t hesitate. Just open it and walk right in.
Interior & Atmosphere
As soon as you open the door, a large window comes into view right across from you. That’s how you enter Queen’s Sunday — with a pleasant, open feeling.
Warm lighting wraps around the entire space, creating the sensation that a completely different world begins just beyond the door.
It’s not a large shop, but the atmosphere and the carefully chosen details make you want to stay longer.
There was real joy in looking around — from the vintage interior props to the various artworks and carefully chosen vintage home décor pieces.
The artist’s illustrations and props, arranged alongside a monstera plant, somehow bring to mind a French sensibility.
Posters were displayed upright like vinyl records, and the walls were filled with postcards.
Two large dehumidifiers were running to protect the artworks from humidity, which made the entire space feel very comfortable and well cared for.

His Workspace
In one corner of Queen’s Sunday, there was the artist’s workspace, and he was actually drawing right there.
You could see his watercolor palette and brushes, original artworks, and even sketches. Being able to feel the whole process of how products come to life through the artist’s hands — all in one space — made the visit feel even more special.
Salut Danny
Salut Danny is an illustrator and picture book author.
He published his first book, My Childhood Diary, which is a illustrated essay filled with stories from his early years.
Goods & Gift Items
There were such cute bread models, and even rabbit-shaped candles 🙂
The apple paperweight also seemed to be one of the pieces that the owner, a collector herself, gathered from various countries and now sells in the shop.
As I looked around, I found a simple yet adorable mini eco bag that seemed to be made with silkscreen printing, featuring the artist’s illustration. It was really cute!
And even the cute pastel-toned candles.
Salut Danny’s acrylic keyrings are also really cute.
There was also a metal ruler. I kept going back and forth about whether to buy it, but ended up leaving without it… Now I keep thinking about it. I’ll definitely get it next time I visit.
They were also selling grip toks featuring Salut Danny’s illustrations, as well as ones with Collector Lily’s own warm and atmospheric style.
Aren’t the memo pads and mini notebooks just too cute?
Looking at them, I felt that the artist’s illustrations have a way of lifting your mood and gently taking you back to a sense of childhood innocence.
At Queen’s Sunday, you can also find Salut Danny’s illustrated essay filled with stories from his childhood.
It feels like a publication that was born from the collaboration between Lily and the artist.
There were mini posters neatly arranged like vinyl records, as well as larger posters.
Postcards featuring the artist’s warm and beautiful works were also ready for you to choose from — you could pick several of them. Looking through and selecting the ones you liked was part of the fun.
Looking at the artist’s illustrations, with their distinctive style, French architecture, various overseas settings, and characters of different ethnicities, it somehow gave me the feeling of traveling — especially since I love going abroad.
If you’ve been to one of the places depicted, the artwork can bring back memories: “Let’s go here together on our next trip,” or “We went there, remember?”
It would make a thoughtful gift for sharing those memories or for inspiring someone to visit a place they’ve been dreaming about.
From the vintage tableware to the unique egg-shaped candles and candle holders, you can clearly feel Lily’s distinctive sense of style.
And true to a gift shop, there were also cute birthday candles ready and waiting.
Artificial tulips were also available so you can purchase them together with a gift.
If someone received them, it would make for a really pretty photo. They somehow feel like they’d look even better captured on film.
When I went to the counter to make a purchase, I noticed that the glass showcase also had more products available for sale!
What I Bought
I bought some posters and postcards, a mini eco bag, and memo pads!
The image of someone holding a fully bloomed bouquet of flowers was just so lovely that I wanted to write a letter for someone’s special day — that’s why I bought it!
I really prefer handwriting postcards or letters myself. In today’s digital age, it somehow feels even more precious.
I bought this poster because it reminded me of my trip to France the year before last.
The scene of cute children gathered by the window, eagerly looking at freshly baked bread, is just so endearing. It also brings back memories of the macarons I tried and how delicious the croissants were — thinking about those moments still makes me happy.
Looking at the illustration, I felt that hanging it at home would let me revisit those memories and lift my mood whenever I see it.
Since I also do illustration work and bookbinding myself, one of my bucket-list dreams is to go backpacking alone in France someday. I’d ride a bicycle around, explore little shops, bring the handmade notebooks I’ve bound, a pencil, and a portable palette, then sit on a bench drawing while eating a croissant and spending the day at a leisurely pace.
The contrast between the phrase “Successful Walk” and the completely opposite scene in the illustration is just too cute!
I absolutely love furry friends — whether cats or dogs — so I bought this postcard simply because it was adorable.
A memo pad that would look so cute if you wrote a short message to go with a gift for a birthday or celebration!
It also takes me back to the world of childhood, when my parents used to throw birthday parties for me.
The artist’s cute mini eco bag! I can tuck it into my bag and pull it out whenever I need to carry something.
It’s minimal, which matches my taste perfectly, so I bought it. The two-color silkscreen print with the red accent really stood out to me — I loved that detail.

The adorable yellow-haired girl on the coupon seems to be Salut Danny’s illustration of Lily herself. And the bag she’s carrying… since Lily is a collector, maybe it’s a collector’s bag? That’s just my own little interpretation!
Lily also gave me Mentos, and even though it was raining that day and I had brought an umbrella, I almost forgot it…
The artist came running out to make sure I got my umbrella safely. I was just about to go back upstairs for it — thank you so much 🥹

Space

The space itself is small, but the contrast between the exterior and the interior creates a wonderful feeling of discovering a hidden secret place. I really loved that. If you visit, I think it will become a special experience and a lasting memory — highly recommended.

What sets this gift shop apart from others is that you can actually watch the artist drawing right there, and encounter his works through postcards and various goods (even if not the originals). For someone like me who loves vintage items, the unique pieces that Lily has personally collected were also a real highlight.
Intention to Revisit

I would love to come back to see the artist’s new illustrations and Lily’s newly collected pieces. Or when I’m in Euljiro 3-ga with a friend, I can already imagine saying, “Did you know there’s a place like this here?” and showing it to them. Yes — I’ll definitely return.
