Have you heard about the Moomin x Lush collaboration?

It was first released online on Musinsa, and now it’s available in all Lush stores so you can see it in person.
I went to check it out myself!

Before we dive in, let me give you a quick introduction to Lush.
It’s always nicer when you know a bit about the brand before looking at the products, right?

Lush

Lush is a British brand that creates eco-friendly products using fresh ingredients and handmade methods.
They have long held three important principles: no animal testing, ethical sourcing of ingredients, and vegetarian products.

When I heard that Lush was collaborating with Tove Jansson, the Finnish author behind the Moomins, I got even more excited.
Both share the same respect for nature, so it felt like a collaboration that was truly meant to be.

This time, all the Moomin x Lush collaboration products were gathered together in one basket!
There are a total of 8 products.

From now on, I’ll share the prices, product descriptions, and my personal review after seeing them in real life.

– How to Use the Bath Bomb –

When I saw the Moomin bath bomb in person, it was much bigger than I expected.
I was surprised by how large it was — about the size of my palm.

It has a refreshing bergamot scent mixed gently with lavender.
When you drop it in the bath, it feels calming and makes you want to fall asleep peacefully.

What I love most about bath bombs is watching the color slowly change as they dissolve in the water.
Just looking at it is already healing and makes me feel good.

It almost feels too precious to use, but I think it would make a wonderful gift for someone who loves both Moomin and bath products.
The scent is lovely, and there’s even the fun of watching it — it would be a really nice present.

– How to Use the Body Spray –

The body spray has a cute illustration of Moomin resting on a pink cloud.
When I smelled it, my first thought was “It’s really sweet!”

As the name Cloudberry suggests, it is full of a very berry-like scent.

I think this one comes down to personal preference.
If you like musk scents, you might not enjoy it as much.
But if you love sweet and bright fragrances, I would recommend it.

Moomin Delight 130g – Soap

– How to Use the Moomin Delight Soap –

When I first saw it, the surface looked dry so I thought it was a bath bomb.
But once you wet it, it becomes glossy just like the photos on the official website.

When I smelled it, it felt like a mix of raspberry and orange.
It’s a fresh yet sweet soap.

Moominmamma Body Lotion
Price: 26,000 KRW

– How to Use the Moomin Body Lotion –

The Moomin body lotion is much smaller than I expected, so at first I thought it was a hand cream.
It feels a bit insufficient if you want to apply it all over your body.

The scent is a mix of vanilla and coconut, but the vanilla is stronger, giving it a warm and sweet feeling.

Little My 75g – Soap

– How to Use the Little My Soap –

Among all the Moomin bath products, this one seems to match the character’s design the best.

I usually prefer body soaps with fresh and citrusy scents like grapefruit or lemon, and this one matched my taste perfectly.
If you like refreshing scents, I recommend it.

Snorkmaiden Comb (Hair Comb)
Price: 20,000 KRW

The Moomin hair comb is sold out online, but if you visit a nearby Lush store, there are still a few left in stock so you can buy it there.

It’s made from 100% recycled plastic.
The size is perfect for taking out of your bag and quickly tidying up your bangs.

Snufkin 75g – Shower Gummy / Body Wash

I didn’t get to smell it in person, but I think a mimosa scent would suit it well.

More than the scent, because it’s a shower gummy, just the soft and bouncy texture alone feels healing — kind of like the popular soft toys these days.

Moominvalley 30ml – Perfume

When I visited the store, the perfume was sold out so I couldn’t smell it in person.

According to the scent description, it has a soft, fresh laundry scent mixed with orange, creating a pleasant and fragrant aroma.

Moominhouse Sundry Box
Gift Box
Price: 10,000 KRW

The Moominhouse-shaped gift box costs 10,000 KRW and has three floors.
It’s perfect for packing Moomin collection items as a gift.
Since the handle can be detached separately, you can also use the house itself as a decorative piece.

If you like lighting, you could carefully cut out the windows with a knife and place a light inside to make it glow at night — it would look really pretty as a decoration.

If you enjoy DIY or making things like I do, this might be a fun idea for you.

While I was there, I also took some photos of the recent Lush products.

I find Lush so colorful that just looking at the products is healing and makes me feel good.

Colorful Lush Packaging!

Personally, I think Lush’s packaging designs are so bright and cheerful that they make both the giver and the receiver feel happy.

Another great thing about Lush gift packaging is that it doesn’t end after unwrapping — you can keep using it afterward.

Instead of disposable wrapping paper, they often use recyclable paper boxes, reusable boxes, and knot wraps (fabric wraps) that can be used again.
So after receiving a gift, you can use the packaging as a storage box, wrap something else with it, or keep it as a decorative item.
I really love that about them.

The Moominhouse-shaped box has that same feeling.
If you remove the handle, you can leave it as a little house, and by cutting out the windows you can even turn it into a lighting decoration.

A packaging that looks pretty when you give it and can still be used for a long time by the person who receives it.
I think that’s the biggest advantage of Lush gift packaging.
